The notable successes that SECURA-GROUP has achieved in the Civil & Marine Engineering fields are, as follows:
DEWATERING AND SHEET PILE DRIVING:
At out-falls construction of Hydel Power base structure at Chasma Nuclear Complex.
Dewatering by sinking Tube wells of 30” dia & 100’ depth with PVC fixtures and Electric submersible pumps of 0.25 cusec capacity. Water table was lowered up to 8 meters from EWL and maintained for 6 months during excavation and construction. Sheet piling for protection of excavation of driving by hydraulic hammer up to 23m to 24m from EGL.
REHABILITATION OF KPT DRY DOCK, MANORA, KARACHI:
Installation of 6” dia, 20 feet – 80 feet deep Piezometers 11-Nos installed with Soil Instruments UK, stand pipe Piezometer tips, and 2” dia PVC pipes schedule 80 with gravel shrouding, bentonite packing and cement grout.
Installation of relief wells on the sides walls of the dry dock for releasing the pore water pressure to avoid any structural damage to walls of dry dock due to increase in pore water pressure.
80-Nos, 8”– 6” dia deep with PVC filter, gravel pack.
OP-II PROJECT – KPT:
It was our firm who proposed and arranged the Hydraulic Pile Extractor from our foreign Principals (M/s. DIESEKO-JPN) to CHEC (China Harbour Engg. Co.) for the extraction of existing piles as well as pile driver for driving of new steel piles at OP-II Project at Karachi Port Trust (KPT).
NMB-WHARF PROJECT – KPT:
We have supplied and installed V-Type Marine Fenders from our Principal Shibata-Japan to the Contractor (M/s. Ayub Brothers) for the Reconstruction of NM Boat Wharf Project at Karachi Port Trust (KPT).
